What joy a child would have had playing with this very collectable antique book and of course can still have! My Dolly’s Home by Doris Davey and Helen Waite. First on opening there is a story of Betty’s Adventure then the book has 22 double pages of indoor rooms in the house and outdoor scenes. Flaps to doors, cupboards, gates etc all open out. Sad thing is the cut out dolls are not in the book (if they were it would be more highly valued in price) where they would have been placed in an envelope in the back. Nevertheless, still very sought after. Some spine exposed inside with pages slightly detached and a grubby well used cover with wear. Lovely bright colourful illustrations with good clean inside pages. Published by Arts & General Publishers Limited, London in 1921
